Job Summary :

Opportunity for an internal medicine physician with inpatient and outpatient interest in thriving internal medicine practice in Lafayette, Tennessee.

Qualified Candidates

  • Board certified / board eligible in internal medicine
  • Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain
  • New internal medicine residents and practicing physicians will be considered
  • Interest in providing inpatient and outpatient care
  • Commitment to providing high quality, evidenced based patient care

  • Join 1 internal medicine physician and 2 Advanced Practice Providers
  • 3 clinic locations : Westmoreland, Lafayette and Red Boiling Springs
  • Shared Call 1 : 3

    • About Macon Community Hospital

  • MCH is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving the people of Macon and surrounding counties.
  • Offering inpatient and outpatient healthcare services, MCH has a newly renovated and state-of-the-art Emergency Department with eight exam rooms staffed with a 24-hour physician. Medical Imaging including mammogram, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, bone density, CT scan and MRI. Diabetes Education Center, laboratory services, infusion therapy, surgical services, respiratory therapy, respite care, skilled care and sleep lab services. Specialty clinics offering services for cardiology, orthopedics, hearing, nephrology, lung, sleep, podiatry, surgery and outpatient therapy services.

    • Lafayette TN, is a picturesque town located near the center of Macon County and straddles a divide between the Barren River and the Cumberland River. Quietly removed from the hustle and bustle of city life, it is the perfect place to raise a family and enjoy recreational activities. Macon County has no shortage of nature park attractions, trails and historic places. Lost River Cave, Winding stairs Park, Macon County Golf Course, Macon Drive-in-Movie, Red Barn Winery and more. Lafayette is within an hour's drive of Mammoth Cave National Park, Barren River Resort and only 60 miles to Nashville, TN!
