Location : On site at our closed-door, Southborough MA, pharmacy (155 Northboro Road, Southborough, MA)
Salary : $24 (contingent upon experience)
Available Schedules :
9 am - 5 : 30 pm (M-F) - every other weekend (9 am – 5 : 30 pm)
Travel Expectations : 75%

The ADS Technician is a traveling position that is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy’s automated dispensing systems. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail that can manage timelines of various projects to meet required deadlines. The individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with the pharmacy and customers in person, via phone and email. The position requires a dynamic person that can multi-task and continually hold themselves accountable for delivering timely results with a high degree of accuracy. Technician maintains machine inventory, provides user support, performs maintenance activities and troubleshooting, and monitors proper functionality and use of the system. The Technician will be required to travel to troubleshoot hardware issues and perform restocks / audits.
Key Responsibilities :
Travel to fix and troubleshoot hardware issues on site, at different facility locations, with phone supportAddress any issues with Clarest IT to make sure connections are sustained for all machines to ensure proper communication of patient info within ADS machineReview and complete daily ADS restocks to keep work flowing normallyVerify all medications sent on previous delivery are correctly entered into machines and are not sent as a duplicateResponsible for all in-services with printed step-by-step guides to train nurses / higher authority staffAudit all ADS machines quarterly with visitations to make sure all drawers, medications and expiration dates are correctReview and work with DNS to remove any control drug discrepancies to prevent diversion and keep counts correctWork with Order Entry to ensure all reports and medications are sent each day and entered correctly into the current AM batchAssist DNS to add new medication requests into ADS machine with Director / Pharmacist in Charge approvalPack, check, and tote batches, if short staffed for ADS auditsWork with purchaser on ADS optimization project to decide what can be removed / replaced in ADS machines to lower STAT runs / cut cost on unused medicationsWorks with Compliance to make sure all manifests and hard copy scripts are in house within a timely mannerWork with courier service to address any issueMust adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance OfficerQualifications :
High school diploma or GED is requiredProven experience as a pharmacy technicianMust have CPhT / ExCPT license and MA Registered Pharmacy Technician license (must be in good standing)Must have a valid driver’s license (in good standing)Skills + Abilities :
