Job descriptionProvide comprehensive neonatal care in a NICU Manage daily patient care activities, including assessments and treatments Participate in the management of a low volume NICU with an average daily census of 0.7 Handle procedures as required Deliver care for high-risk deliveries, comprising 10-12% of annual deliveries Board certification in Neonatology or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required Must be licensed to practice in California Prior experience with Epic EMR systems preferred Multiple positions available, with a firm start in December Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
Job Description
We are seeking a Neonatologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 1, 2025. This critical role involves 24 / 7 coverage with 24-hour shifts, demanding a quick response to neonatal intensive care needs, particularly in a NICU setting.
