Urgent Opportunity : Join MyCHN as a Highly Skilled Pharmacy Technician II!

At MyCHN, a nonprofit healthcare leader with over 100 providers and 15 locations in the Greater Houston and Gulf Coast area, we are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician II. This role offers you the chance to enhance your skills, enjoy excellent benefits, and work in a fulfilling environment that prioritizes patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Accurately enter patient data and process prescriptions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, prescribers, and insurers
  • Prepare, label, and dispense medications
  • Handle transactions while maintaining financial accuracy
  • Keep workstations clean, safe, and organized
  • Mentor Pharmacy Technician I team members
  • Travel to support pharmacy sites as needed
  • Assist with departmental projects and reporting

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in Texas and Certified
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish? That's a big plus!
  • Experience in compounding, IV admixture, or specialty pharmacy preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service
  • Team-oriented mindset with leadership potential
