As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Pay Rate : $17.70 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including the business and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and employees by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Work in varying environments and conditions as required by the location.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local contacts to support a secure environment at the site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
