We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Stockton, California. In this long-term contract role, you will manage bi-weekly, multi-state payroll processes, ensuring all employee data, deductions, and benefits are accurately maintained. Responsibilities :
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Update and validate employee records, including new hires, terminations, changes, and time-off accruals.
- Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, and benefits to ensure proper application.
- Review and verify all earnings, deductions, and adjustments to maintain payroll integrity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Utilize Paylocity software to execute payroll tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed payroll reports for auditing and management purposes.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters with professionalism and clarity.
- Support ongoing improvements to payroll processes and systems.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration.Proficiency in processing multi-state payrolls with attention to detail.Knowledge of payroll-related deductions, garnishments, and benefits.Experience using Paylocity software for payroll management.Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and resolving payroll concerns.Strong analytical skills to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
