Overview

Located in Alamo, California, Round Hill has been providing a world-class country club experience since 1961. Round Hill has the designation of Distinguished Club. Facilities include an 18-hole golf course, practice range, tennis courts, swimming pool, fitness center, and bocce courts.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a First Assistant Golf Course Superintendent located in Alamo, CA. In this role, you'll work side-by-side with the Golf Course Superintendent to lead our course maintenance team, oversee daily operations, and apply your expertise in turf management and irrigation. The role involves overseeing turf management, golf course management, irrigation, landscape maintenance, and pesticide usage on a day-to-day basis.

What You'll Do :

  • Lead, train, and inspire the maintenance crew
  • Monitor turf health and recommend solutions
  • Fine-tune irrigation and water management systems
  • Ensure our members and guests enjoy exceptional playing conditions every day

Qualifications

  • 2- or 4-year degree / certificate in agronomy, horticulture, or plant / soil sciences
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in golf course maintenance
  • California QAC (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
  • Strong turf, irrigation, and equipment knowledge
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Ambition to grow into a Golf Course Superintendent role
