Pay : $69.50 / hr ($2502 weekly)

Shift : 3x12 Day Shift (07 : 00 to 19 : 00)

Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025

The NICU RN role is within a Magnet-designated facility in Akron, OH and requires strong pediatric experience. Nurses will provide specialized care for neonatal patients in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Floating is required, and candidates must have an active Ohio or compact license in hand at submission. This position offers a consistent day-shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week.

NICU RN Key Responsibilities :

Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill or premature neonatal patients.

Monitor vital signs, ventilator settings, medications, and responses to treatment.

Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the broader care team to support neonatal stabilization and ongoing care.

Provide education and emotional support to families regarding neonatal conditions and treatment plans.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in the electronic medical record.

Float to other pediatric-related units as required.

NICU RN Requirements :

Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand at time of submission.

BLS and NRP certifications required.

STABLE certification preferred.

BSN required due to Magnet facility standards.

Minimum of one year of recent NICU or pediatric experience required.

Willingness to float as needed.
