Join our dynamic team as an Electronics Engineering Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in the testing, calibration, and verification of electronic circuits and devices using a variety of diagnostic tools. You will work closely with engineers to build, test, and refine prototypes, ensuring all activities comply with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Perform testing, calibration, and verification of electronic circuits and devices using standard diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
Record, analyze, and report test results, failures, and corrective actions.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical systems to the component level.
Assemble and wire electronic components, subassemblies, and prototype systems following schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Assist engineers in building, testing, and refining prototype designs and new product developments.
Maintain and update documentation, test logs, and equipment calibration records.
Support the design and construction of test fixtures, jigs, and diagnostic setups.
Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, and quality control standards in all laboratory and production activities.
Collaborate with engineering, warehouse, and quality teams to ensure smooth project execution and continuous improvement.
Essential Skills
Associate degree or certification in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in electronic testing, repair, or manufacturing support, preferably in an engineering environment.
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit theory and operation.
Proficiency with test & measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and PCB layouts.
Skilled in soldering and reworking both TH and SMT components.
Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office and recording test results.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Understanding of radio frequency theory and operation.
Experience with data acquisition, test automation, or CAD tools.
Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded systems.
Work Environment
The role is based in an office setting with working hours from 8am to 4 : 30pm, including a 30-minute break. The work environment emphasizes safety and quality, fostering collaboration across engineering, warehouse, and quality teams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr.
