Title : Content Designer II / Senior Designer

Location : Mountain View, CA (hybrid)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Content Designer II to join our client’s team and lead the design and delivery of large-scale service design projects. This role focuses on creating comprehensive customer experiences, service blueprints, and journey maps, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will collaborate across research, design, product management, and service delivery teams to deliver scalable and reusable design solutions that improve user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the scoping, planning, and execution of end-to-end service design projects.
  • Design and iterate on service blueprints and customer journey maps from both micro and macro perspectives.
  • Identify patterns and behaviors across services to create durable and reusable solutions.
  • Connect tactical execution to broader business objectives through strategic thinking.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with research, design, product management, and service delivery teams.
  • Champion service design methodologies and embed best practices into projects.
  • Mentor junior service designers, ensuring high-quality execution across all projects.
  • Facilitate workshops, co-creation sessions, and alignment exercises with diverse stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in service design, customer research, product design, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of design thinking and human-centered design methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end service design processes, including research, workshops, and experience mapping.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) and collaboration tools (Miro, Mural, Figjam).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and project management principles.
  • Experience designing for mid-market or enterprise business / workforce management solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI tools to accelerate aspects of design work.

    • Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Service Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
