Intelligence Analyst - Open Rank-ACL-Colorado Springs, CO-Onsite

Subject matter expert who leverages a wide range of knowledge, experience and deep analytic skill to research foreign civil, military and commercial capabilities, technical developments; regional issues; geographic, cultural and biographic data and system vulnerabilities. Prepares assessments of current events and technologies based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to inform dynamic requirements and ensure maximum operational insight of adversary capabilities and intent. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods, advanced analytic methodologies and verifiable processes. Authors assessments of current and future political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, technical developments, and foreign tactical, operational and strategic doctrine to inform DoD R&D, acquisition and operational communities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct threat projection studies and analysis in support of system acquisition decisions and early phase research and development. Research dual-use technologies, foreign military research and development, non-traditional ISR and emerging threat capabilities including cyber, electronic warfare, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, space, and hypersonic systems. Use intelligence analysis tools and methodologies, including modeling and simulation tools, to conduct foreign threat analyses against U.S. scientific and technical intelligence capabilities and strategic communications infrastructure. Programmatic and technical lead (PI or PD or co-); Directs highly specialized tasks in area of expertise; Primary author of technical reports/presentations;

Additional Responsibilities

• Use experience with intelligence analysis tools and methods, including modeling and simulation tools, to analyze complex threat systems/capabilities, threat technologies, threat kill chains, and threat environments to determine both capabilities and vulnerabilities of U.S. systems and concepts that provide a wide range of national security capabilities across all domains.
• Develop operationally realistic scenarios and/or experiments at the mission and theater levels.
• Author assessments and reports for projects supporting key government organizations to inform their research and development (R&D), acquisition, and policy decisions for U.S. capabilities, systems, and concepts.
• Work with and lead interdisciplinary teams to support project requirements and decisions regarding the implementation and viability of capabilities based on analysis of all-source intelligence information.
• Work in government spaces, such as local U.S. Space Force facilities.

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Intelligence analysis experience with military and intelligence community
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with intelligence analysis tools and methodologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Masters or Ph.D. in relevant field
• Experience managing multifaceted projects from startup to closeout, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
• Experience writing successful proposals as part of a cross-functional team
• Experience with strategic or operational-level scenario development
• Experience with analyzing complex kill chains that cross multiple domains
• Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis tools or with live, virtual, constructive experimentation

10% - 25% travel

• 14 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field of study
• 12 years of related experience with a Masters’ degree in any relevant field of study
• 9 years of related experience with a Ph.D. in any relevant field of study
