About this Role Survey Engineer

We are looking for a talented Survey Engineer to provide advanced surveying and geospatial support to operations on civil construction projects.

What Youll Do

• Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using GPS, GNSS, and total station equipment
• Interpret legal land descriptions and plats to support easement acquisition and utility siting
• Create and update models using Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Perform takeoffs and develop CAD deliverables for engineering and permitting teams
• Integrate survey data with GIS platforms and perform geospatial analysis
• Collaborate with customer and field management on schedule development and assist in maintaining during the course of a project
• Collect data from the field to report daily production quantities
• Assist field personnel with troubleshooting GPS and survey equipment
• Interact with customers on project with positive long-term relationship in mind
• Mentor civil technicians and support continuous improvement of survey workflows
• Maintain informational databases, records, general data archives, or files using technical software
• Ensure compliance with company, federal, and state codes
