Orthopedic Surg

Support Staff : 7 NP / PAs, 1 Podiatry RN, 1 MA, 2 Office Staff

Case Mix : Toe deformities / foot deformities

Duties :

Usually the calls that come through are picked up by the orthopedist and then they decide if it should be routed to the podiatrist to handle; Calls / call back can vary.

Required Procedures :

General Orthopedics : Surgical & Non-Surgical

Others : Excluding hips and knees

Office Equipment :

X-ray facilities, cast room, own ortho DME closet.

EMR : Epic

Other Info :

Required to supervise Podiatry RN in clinic.

Anything that is larger bone or above the ankle will more than likely go to one of the other 10 ortho providers.
