Position Summary :
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)in a school setting works one-on-one or with multiple students to help them manage their behavior and optimize their learning experience. They encourage positive behaviors, set appropriate boundaries, and observe, develop and report students' progress toward their IEP / 504 plan goals.

Experience / Requirements :
Works with clients, consultants, staff, families, and community to implement Studentsbehavior supportplanAdheres to the RBT ethics requirementsMinimum of 2 years experience working with children, preferably with special needsEffectively responds to and manages crisis situations which may include client physicalaggression as directed in the Individualized Education ProgramCompletes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistentand timely mannerObserves records, and reports the condition and behavior of the clients, includingmaintaining daily recordsBecomes fluent in the understanding and application of each childs IEPRenews credential as required by the BCBA guidelines on an annual basisEducation / License / Certification :
