We are looking for a dynamic and driven Finance Director to join our FP&A team and report directly to the Head of Global FP&A. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the group FP&A and Strategic Finance function from the ground up for a public company with approximately $3 billion in annual revenue. The Finance Director will lead the Diabetes business unit's Long-range Financial model, a core component of our IPO preparation. This role will partner cross-functionally to develop key assumptions, synthesize market data and internal forecasts in order to deliver a robust model that supports strategic planning and investor expectations. As a people manager, this position requires strong leadership and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset and a passion for driving high-impact analytics in a fast-evolving environment. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business.

As Finance Director, Global FP&A, you will be responsible for :
Long-range Modelling and Financial Planning
Investor Relations support and Market / Competitor insights
Strategic Projects and Business Transformation
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
Must Have : Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience with 7+ years managerial experience
Or Advanced Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience and 7+ years managerial experience
Preferred Qualifications
MBA
Medical Device, Healthcare or Pharma Industry experience
Corporate / Group FP&A experience with global exposure
Familiarity with SAP, Hyperion, OneStream or other financial systems
Strong analytical and data visualization skills
Interest in emerging technologies and automation tools; building or using AI agent is a plus
Strong curiosity and a passion for continuous learning

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $169,600.00 - $254,400.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification / education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
