AEMO is embarking on a technology uplift program, designed to modernise systems, enhance operational efficiency, and shape the future of the energy landscape. We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Program Communications Analyst to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will be instrumental in bringing the program's communication strategy to life, supporting the delivery of clear and engaging content across the organisation.
As the Program Communications Analyst, you will be the engine room of the program's communication function. Reporting to the Program Communications & Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of communication activities. Your role will involve content creation, channel management, event support, and data analysis. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the timely and effective delivery of communications that keep our people informed, engaged, and prepared for change. Position Responsibilities Content Creation & Editing : Draft, edit, and proofread a variety of communications materials, including newsletters, intranet articles, emails, FAQs, and presentation slides, ensuring alignment with program messaging and brand guidelines.
Channel Management : Manage the program's content calendar and take responsibility for publishing updates to our internal channels, such as the SharePoint intranet site and the Viva Engage platform.
Event & Meeting Support : Provide logistical and communications support for program events, town halls, and workshops. This includes managing invitations, preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and assisting with post-event communications.
Data & Analytics Support : Assist in the administration of pulse surveys and other feedback mechanisms. You will collate and analyse data to help prepare reports on communication effectiveness and employee engagement for the leadership team.
Stakeholder Coordination : Liaise with various program and business stakeholders to gather information for stories, articles, and other content. You will also assist in coordinating the review and approval process for communication materials.
Team Administration : Provide general administrative support to the Communications & Engagement Manager as required, including managing distribution lists, scheduling key meetings, and maintaining a library of communication assets. Position Requirements
Skills & Experience : Strong experience in an internal communications, corporate affairs, or marketing communications role.
Demonstrable experience writing and editing clear, compelling content for a variety of channels and audiences.
High proficiency with the MS suite is essential, particularly SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience working in a large, complex organisation or on a project / program environment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with employee engagement platforms or basic graphic design tools would be an advantage. .
