The Cloud Engineering team is hiring a Cloud Engineer.

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining Cboes cloud platform, a globally distributed, secure, scalable, and reliable public cloud infrastructure. This role is focused on execution, automation, and supporting infrastructure solutions for cloud-native applications. Cloud Engineers are expected to participate in project delivery, contribute to team processes, and grow their technical depth through hands-on work and collaboration.

In this role youll

• Build and maintain a globally distributed cloud infrastructure platform using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Participate in project teams to deliver cloud solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support and enhance CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Maintain and support cloud environments, including incident response, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Document infrastructure designs, standard operating procedures, and support runbooks.
• Create and maintain clear, accurate documentation tailored to the target audience (e.g., engineers, support staff).
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure systems are secure and compliant.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support operational readiness.
• Consider future maintenance, operability, and support implications when implementing solutions.
• Participate in retrospectives to identify opportunities to improve platform scalability and supportability.

Our pay ranges are determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, role, experience, level, and location. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $97,750-$120,750. This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay the company expects to offer for new hires working in the position full time. If you live in one of the following areas or work in a Cboe office in the following areas, the range may be higher according to the geographic differentials listed below :

Within the range, individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
