As a Security Professional - Aero Defense Unarmed Patrol in Norfolk, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to support a secure environment, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Mon05 : 30 AM - 01 : 30 PM

Tue05 : 30 AM - 01 : 30 PM

Wed05 : 30 AM - 01 : 30 PM

Thur05 : 30 AM - 01 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.

Assist visitors, employees, and / or contractors with access control procedures and provide directions or information as needed.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and orderly environment.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid Guard Card and / or license is preferred.

CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
