This role begins on Nov 3, 2025, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week between Monday and Friday. The assignment focuses on inpatient wound care and long-term acute care, providing both acute and rehabilitative services. Job Details Location : New York Start Date : Nov 3, 2025 LOA : 72 days Provider Type Needed : Wound Care Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Three 12-hour shifts per week, Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide acute and rehabilitative care for patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems Deliver direct care to patients with stomas, wounds, fistulas, drains, pressure ulcers, tubes, and incontinence Serve as an educator, consultant, and researcher for wound care practices Guide optimal patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Care for patients with complex and intractable wounds resulting from various causes Support outreach, psychological, and spiritual services for patients and families Additional Information Must have a minimum of two years of Medical / Surgical nursing experience Required board certification : Wound Care Must hold a current DEA certification Experience with inpatient wound care or long-term acute care required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
