Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details

Location : Tucson, AZ 85741 (Arizona nursing jobs)

Healthcare Setting : Med / Surg Telemetry (Float Pool)

Assignment Type : Travel RN Contract

Start Date : October 27, 2025

End Date : January 26, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (12-hour shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Float Requirement : Will float between Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780-$1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience

Strong telemetry skills required

Ability to start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance preferred

Excellent critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership abilities

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

Demonstrate advanced critical thinking to ensure safe and effective care delivery

Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training

Delegate and prioritize patient care based on staff education and experience

Direct and supervise assigned healthcare personnel in patient care delivery

Float between various departments and hospital facilities as required
