This is a high-impact role where you will be responsible for executing on architecture and engineering strategies, enabling future-ready data integration tools across the enterprise. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be a senior technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data integration solutions. You will closely collaborate with the cross-functional team and technical leadership to execute target-state architectures while delivering solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with business priorities. This role requires deep technical expertise in data integration tools and enterprise platforms (e.g., Informatica, MuleSoft, AWS, Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, etc.), a deep understanding of data integration architectures, and advanced integration engineering skills. You will be a technical leader within the Enterprise Systems Engineering team, mentoring and guiding engineers across the team. Your Impact :

• Design, build, configure, debug, monitor, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure enterprise data integration solutions using modern cloud-based platforms like Informatica, Mulesoft, AWS, Snowflake, etc.. to integrate, cleanse, and move data across enterprise systems.
• Leverage deep expertise in Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud) to design and implement business solutions that enable efficiency and scalability for the business.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technical, and functional teams to influence and execute data integration strategies, standards, and guidelines to enable future scale and growth.
• Utilize expertise in high-volume, complex data migration to drive future needs of the business, maintaining the highest standards of performance, quality, and efficiency.
• Own and drive data movement and readiness strategies to enable AI adoption across the enterprise.
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to drive data quality and governance standards.
• Develop high-quality data integrations across systems, such as external applications, AppFolio Product, Snowflake, Salesforce, Zuora Billing, Zuora RevPro, NetSuite, etc..
• Act as a technical role model, mentoring mid-level engineers and elevating coding and design practices. Continuous improvement in performance, scalability, security, and reliability across data integration tools at AppFolio.
• Model and encourage best practices in DevOps to enhance efficiency and automation.
• Participate in ARB (Architecture Review Board) discussions, providing design and code review support.

The actual compensation for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience, and internal equity.Please note that compensation is just one aspect of a comprehensive Total Rewards package. The compensation range listed here does not include additional benefits or any discretionary bonuses you may be eligible for based on your role and / or employment type.Regular full-time employees are eligible for benefits - .
