Authorization Representative

Work Schedule :

This is a part time, 0.75 FTE position. This position is hybrid and training is required onsite at 7974 UW Health Ct. in Middleton, WI. Training can last up to 6 weeks and is scheduled from 9 : 00-3 : 30pm, Monday - Friday each week. Once fully trained, the selected individual will transition to a primarily remote role and will be scheduled Monday - Friday, 9 : 00 a.m - 3 : 30 p.m. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Authorization Representative to :

• Obtain prior authorization from payers for inpatient and outpatient services provided by UW Health.
• Demonstrate skilled communication and troubleshooting techniques as well as excellent customer service skills.
• Anticipate and respond to a wide variety of issues / concerns and the ability to execute tasks efficiently and effectively.
