Robert Half is partnering with a local ag leader in their desire to hire a meticulous and detail-oriented Staff Accountant. In this role, you will handle key financial tasks, ensuring compliance with corporate regulations and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities :

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
• Execute journal entries and reconcile accounts to support monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responses.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial processes and reporting.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and company policies related to financial transactions.
• Participate in special projects as needed to enhance accounting processes and systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience with fixed assets
• Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entries.
• Familiarity with auditing processes and requirements.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with teams.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
