Job description

Locums - OB / GYN Hospitalist JobLocation : Hickory, North CarolinaSetting : Inpatient - Call Only Open Dates (2025) :

  • October : 22, 23, 26
  • November : 10, 13, 19, 22, 23, 30
  • Additional need expected between September 11 - December 31, 2025
  • Ongoing needs anticipated through 2026

Shift Structure :

  • 24-hour call only (7 AM - 7 AM)
  • No clinic coverage
  • Call Type : 2nd Call / Backup
  • Call Ratio : 1 : 3
  • Call Response Time : 30 minutes

    • Clinical Details :

  • EMR : Cerner
  • Patients per Shift : 3-8
  • Facility Beds : 8
  • Assigned rounding patients
  • Admissions required

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible - Required
  • ACLS & BLS - Required
  • Active North Carolina Medical License - Required
