Experience : Manager requires 2+ years L&D experience. Will consider 1–1.5 years only if from a high-risk / high-census L&D unit. Must be able to work independently on nights. Float : Yes, based on unit needs. Travelers may float across Providence Health System facilities : Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, St. Vincent. Seaside float incentive : +$5 / hr + IRS mileage; hotel offered for consecutive shifts. Call : Yes — 1 low-census shift per pay period.

Weekends : Every other or every third.

Block scheduling : Unknown.

Ratios : 1 : 1 labor; 1 : 3 postpartum. Special Notes : Must have a vehicle. 48-hour schedules not approved. Common for travelers to float to units matching their skill set.
