As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol Driver in Port Clinton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer for Allied Universal within the aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine driving patrols to help maintain a secure environment, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and interact professionally with employees and visitors. Your presence and communication skills will help create a positive atmosphere while upholding the highest standards of customer service. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the site and its perimeter, which may include sensitive areas related to the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and / or observations as required by site policies.
  • Follow all established procedures and protocols specific to the location, adapting to varying environments and conditions.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
