About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Shift : 7 PM - 7 AM

Hours per Shift : 36

Experience : Minimum of 2 years as a Medical-Surgical RN

License : Current RN licensure in Michigan

Certifications : BLS certification from AHA

Must-Have :

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Description :

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.

Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.

Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.

Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of solutions.

Candidates with experience working on a surgical floor are preferred.

Candidates may be asked to float to a lockdown unit.

Location is acuity adaptable.
