Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2025 / 2026 school year to support K-12 students within a dynamic educational setting located in Long Beach, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite with diverse caseloads averaging 55 students, providing comprehensive speech and language services to meet various student needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapy for K-12 students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist License with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • California Teaching Credential (CTC) required for school-based practice.
  • Experience serving K-12 populations in educational settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage caseloads averaging approximately 55 students with varying communication disorders.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
