Summary :
Seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee all aspects of disability, leave of absence, and workplace accommodation programs. This newly created position is dedicated entirely to these areas, offering the opportunity to build and enhance processes that support employees and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the subject matter expert for disability, LOA, and accommodation programs including STD, LTD, FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave laws
- Administer and manage end-to-end processes for employee leaves and accommodations, ensuring compliance and consistency
- Provide expert guidance and consultation to HR, Benefits, and management on leave policies, procedures, and best practices
- Partner with third-party administrators and insurance carriers to ensure accurate and timely case resolution
- Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for complex leave and accommodation situations
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience
- Monitor and interpret changing federal, state, and local leave regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
Qualifications and Skills :
7–8+ years of progressive experience specializing in disability, leave of absence, and accommodations administrationDeep knowledge of FMLA, ADA, ERISA, HIPAA, and multi-state leave lawsExperience managing both self-administered and vendor-managed programsStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsSalary :
Up to $100,000 annually, based on experience
