Job descriptionCollecting health history Making health assessment Performing annual physicals Assisting with minor office procedures Coordinating medical intake process Executing medical regimens prescribed by licensed healthcare providers, treatment, referral, health counseling and follow up care and services Graduation from an accredited Nursing program NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New York State Basic Life Support (BLS) certification NYS-approved Infection Control certification Knowledge of Substance / Alcohol Dependence / Abuse population Experience in one of the following specialty areas, including Family Health, Women's Health, Holistic Care, etc. Training in Chemical Use, Abuse, and Dependence specific to the services provided Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Job Description
A nonprofit services organization in New York City is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity :
- Start Date : ASAP
- Assignment Length : Ongoing (Contract to Hire possibility)
- ASchedule : Monday to Friday (alternating weekends)
- Hours : 1pm-9pm (1-hr unpaid lunches)
- EMR : SigmaCare
Responsibilities :
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for assisting with providing and implementing medical care and services for women with a history of chemical dependence, including :
