divh2Crime Gun Intelligence Specialist Level I/h2pAmentum is seeking a Crime Gun Intelligence Specialist Level I to support active contracts in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The position may require limited CONUS travel. The Crime Gun Intelligence Specialist (CGIS) Level I position provides support services related to the ATF Crime Gun Intelligence (CGI) Process. This position requires the ability to apply experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed in searching, interpreting, selecting or coding items to be entered into various data bases and systems from a variety of document sources. Candidate must possess the skill and ability to analyze, summarize, report, and share information. Security Clearance Required: ATF Public Trust Clearance Workweek: Monday through Friday Hours: 8am - 4pm Flexible Hours: No Position Responsibilities:/pulliConduct National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) data entries and perform triage and image reviews upon successful completion of training from ATF or another authorized trainer./liliEnter crime gun traces into the ATF e-Trace database and understand the crime gun tracing process/requirements and intended outcomes./liliEnter data into spreadsheets./liliEnter data into the NIBIN Enforcement Support System (NESS) and understand intended outcomes./liliEnter data and update charts and reports./liliEnter evidence into the Integrated Ballistic Information Systems (IBIS) and understand intended outcomes./liliPerform ballistic image and correlation reviews./liliProduce basic analytical products./liliSummarize information in writing./liliEstablish rapport with others to accomplish objectives./li/ulpPosition Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:/pulliValid U.S. Drivers License/liliBachelors Degree from accredited college or university preferred. Combination of formal education, work experience and on-the-job training will be considered/liliGeneral experience with local, State, or Federal law enforcement is preferred, but not required/liliMust successfully pass an ATF background investigation which includes criminal history, credit/financial queries, drug use, previous employment/education verification, and DMV records check. The ability to obtain and maintain a ATF Public Trust Clearance is required to perform in this role.
