Job description

Job Title : Mainframe Tester

Location : Tampa, FL

RTTO - 5 Days Onsite

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in manual testing with a focus on mainframe environments .
  • Strong understanding of ISO messaging standards (ISO 8583 / 20022) in the payments or banking domain.
  • Hands-on experience with TSO / ISPF, JCL, DB2, VSAM , and mainframe job execution / monitoring.
  • Solid experience in test case creation , execution, and defect management.
  • Familiarity with financial transaction lifecycle and message formats.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Java programming and experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Experience with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
  • Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies .
  • Exposure to API testing (e.g., REST / SOAP using Postman, ReadyAPI).
