Design Drafter - $30 / hr | Temp-to-Hire | South Fort Worth
We're hiring an experienced Design / Drafter to support a leading manufacturing company located in South Fort Worth (off I-35 & Risinger Rd). This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering $30 / hr with long-term growth potential.
What You'll Do
Create 2D / 3D CAD production drawings and detailed shop drawings from new sales orders
Update and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation in MRP systems
Modify and improve existing product designs based on customer and market needs
Support manufacturing teams by resolving drawing / BOM questions
Partner with sales, marketing & customer service on custom requests + new product derivatives
Recommend and implement improvements to quality, cost, and process efficiency
What We're Looking For
1+ year drafting experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication
Proficient with AutoDesk Inventor, SolidWorks , or similar 3D parametric software
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with urgency
Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced, project-based environment
HS Diploma or GED required | PDM software familiarity a plus (Vault, SolidWorks PDM)
Schedule
Monday - Friday | 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (OT as needed)
~10% travel may be required
Pay Details : $30.00 per hour
