Hospital concierge

Do you have a passion for helping people. In this role, you will be attentaive, empathetic and customer service-oriented. Also, an excellent communicator and building rapport with staff and families. The ideal must be able to stand for a long periods of time and work in fast paced environment. This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and wants to make a tangible difference in the lives of patients and their families during what can be a challenging time. Full Time: 3 days per week 10am-10pm M-F including working weekends and/or holidays.

salary: $18.99 - $19 per hour

Responsibilities

Seeking for a Hospital Concierge with the following skills:

• Responding to Patient Needs: Promptly and empathetically addressing non-medical inquiries and requests from patients and their families. This could range from providing comfort items, fetching personal belongings, or assisting with communication needs.
• Maintaining Comfort and Cleanliness: Ensuring patient rooms and common areas are tidy, comfortable, and well-maintained, contributing to a healing environment.
• Providing Support and Information: Offering directions, information about hospital services, and general assistance to patients and visitors, always with a helpful and reassuring demeanor.
• Collaborating with Staff: Working closely with medical and administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery while respecting the boundaries of non-medical support
• Willing to work in fast paced medical center
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime if needed.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

standing for 12 hours at one time

working weekends

Skills

Healthcare (1 year of experience is preferred)

Customer Service

Hospitality (1 year of experience is preferred)
