Currency Exchange International is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The Analytics Engineer will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of data models and AI solutions.

They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and intuitive Data workflows that enhance our operational capabilities and drive business success.

Additionally, they will liaison with internal clients, data analysts, DevOps. They will provide expertise by analyzing and validating business requirements and translating them into detailed data modeling for analytics solutions.

The Engineer will be taking part in shaping and building our future state by participating in our data strategy execution.

Essential Functions :

• Define, support, and maintain appropriate data standards while working with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data meets data quality and integrity standards.
• Data Modelling : Write, maintain, and optimize data models in dbt Labs and Snowflake.
• Manage and maintain database ETL processes in current on-prem servers.
• Build high-quality, reusable code that can be used for data integration
• Assess, recommend, and implement processes and tools to improve the organization’s data quality and usability.
• Effectively develop data management processes to reduce complexity, improve data quality, and increase efficiency throughout the data management lifecycle.
• Perform root-cause analysis for discrepancies between the reporting, production, and accounting systems.

Required Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Developer
• Knowledge and working experience with ETL processes and software.
• Experience using Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive necessary to function effectively.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :

Days of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
