Medical Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinic's Infectious Disease Department. The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, and entering data into the EPIC system.

Responsibilities :

• Room patients and ensure smooth patient flow within the clinic.
• Take and record patient vitals accurately.
• Enter patient information and medical data into the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with the staff RN to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Assist patients who are infected with a disease or those traveling to high-risk countries.

Work Environment :

The Medical Assistant will work Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM in a vibrant clinic environment with 14 exam rooms. The practice sees 70-100 patients a day and is supported by a team of 9 Medical Assistants. This role is within a teaching practice, offering a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
