Housekeeper Position Available

We are hiring a full-time Housekeeper for the day shift to assist in cleaning and maintaining a convent home for elderly Franciscan sisters and priests in Enfield, CT. This includes a weekend rotation with the rest of the housekeeping team.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $16.50 - $20.00. Wage will be determined based on factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity.

General Summary:

The Housekeeper performs cleaning duties in order to maintain a sanitary, clean and orderly environment. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, halls, and restrooms, and vacuuming and cleaning floors.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping/cleaning experience (commercial/environmental cleaning experience is a plus!)
• Seeking a dedicated hard worker with excellent time-management skills who thrives in a team setting
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
