About the role :
The Marketing Automation Manager, Vascular Therapies is responsible for advancing Boston Scientific's data-driven marketing capabilities. This individual will translate marketing strategies into scalable, technology-driven solutions that fuel digital engagement and support commercial goals.
As a member of the Vascular Therapies Marketing Activation team, you will collaborate with a cross-functional network including Marketing Automation Marketers, Digital Marketing Managers, Digital Producers, Integrated Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Sales leaders, Sales Operations, and Corporate Marketing Automation. You will also work closely with IT to secure and manage development resources building capabilities within Salesforce and related platforms in the BSC tech stack.
This is a strategic role requiring strong business acumen, technical knowledge, and the ability to influence stakeholders through insights and education. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for digital innovation and a deep understanding of marketing automation systems and best practices.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Own marketing automation strategy across the customer journey, ensuring alignment with business goals and campaign KPIs.
- Lead consultative engagements with stakeholders, assess new functionality requests, and advise leadership on strategic resourcing implications.
- Deliver strategic recommendations on capability development, scoping, dependencies, and timing in a way that is clearly communicated across audiences.
- Design and recommend sophisticated marketing automation solutions tailored to stakeholder needs using expertise in Salesforce and data management.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud to design integrated digital marketing experiences.
- Anticipate risks, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure high-confidence execution of marketing programs and technologies.
- Connect data between Salesforce platforms to enable seamless omnichannel campaigns.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Digital Strategists, and Digital Producers to execute campaigns and track performance.
- Develop and deliver training on new Salesforce marketing capabilities to business and marketing teams.
- Lead the creation of email journeys and omnichannel programs that ensure cohesive customer experiences.
- Own and implement lead generation and lead scoring programs to drive pipeline progression and business growth.
Qualifications :
Required qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior business analyst or product owner supporting marketing technology implementations.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.Strong understanding of Salesforce platforms for advanced marketing campaigns, campaign reporting, data management, and sales enablement.Experience in user story development and implementation for marketing automation solutions.Solid understanding of data management and database concepts.Preferred qualifications :
MBA or advanced degree in business or marketing.Experience building and managing lead generation campaigns.Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud experience.Salesforce certifications such as Sales Cloud Consultant or Marketing Cloud Consultant.Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
