DEFINITION
Under general supervision of the school nurse and / or the site administrator, to perform clerical and other support activities related to the health and first aid programs of the district; and do other related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of :
Basic concepts of child growth and development, and developmental behavior.
Ability to :
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and skill is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and skill would be :
Experience :
One year experience performing a variety of general office and clerical work, preferably in a health facility.
Education :
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, including or supplemented by coursework in typing, record management, and general office practices.
Certificate Requirement
Current first aid and CPR certificate.
Conditions of Employment
Insurability by District's liability insurance carrier. Employment is contingent upon fingerprint and background clearance, and proof of a recent negative tuberculosis test result.
