As an Equipment Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery such as plows/trenchers, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, and front-end loaders. Your expertise will help keep projects on schedule and deliver results that meet the highest standards.

Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipmentincluding plows/trenchers, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, and front-end loadersto support construction and project-related activities.

Qualification standards include:

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support construction activities.
• Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safe operation and report any issues or required repairs.
• Conduct basic maintenance on equipment such as greasing, lubrication, and fluid checks.
• Follow site-specific safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to meet project goals and schedules.
• Read and interpret grade stakes and project specifications as needed for accurate operation.
• Adapt to various weather conditions and physically demanding work environments.
• Work independently while maintaining a team-oriented, safety-focused mindset.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including labor tasks when equipment is not in use.

Physical and safety requirements include:

• Must comply with company drug and alcohol policy and pass any required physical exams.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (assistance recommended for heavier loads).
• Work extended hours on foot, including on uneven or rough surfaces.
• Climb ladders, kneel, crawl, or work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Must be able to hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty.

• Location: Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shop
