The Lakefront, Anchorage hotel (formerly the Millennium Hotel) is recruiting for full time, Night Auditor to join our team. At the Lakefront Anchorage Hotel, we strive to deliver a memorable experience for our guests. The Lakefront Anchorage Hotel boasts 248 rooms and three outstanding food and beverage outlets.

The role of the Night Auditor is be responsible for balancing room, restaurant and bar daily work, balancing charges and settlements in a timely and efficient manner, maintain files and reset the systems for next day operations. All while providing excellent customer service.

Typical duties of the night auditor include :

• Run audit reports / journals from all computer profit centers and outlets.
• Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout their shift.
• Input onto the PC revenue / expenses / allowances to generate the daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day's operations.
• Ensure all reports and back-up vouchers are complete and filed properly.
• Ensure all necessary copies of documents / back-up and reports of daily work are distributed to the proper person (i.e. A / R, A / P, and Payroll).
• Greeting guests and processing hotel registration.
• Provides guests with assistance at the front desk during the check-in and check-out processes and throughout their stay.
• Processes customer credit at check-in in accordance with hotel policy.
