RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - PCU

Job Details :

• Care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
• Average patient load of 3 high acuity patients
• Must be competent in care of medical and surgical populations
• ACLS certification required
• Advanced hemodynamics knowledge including pressor usage per titration protocols required
• Experience with antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, orthopedic traction, and infection prevention protocols
• Experience with HFNC, BiPap / Cpap, and oxygen-dependent patients required
• Epic experience REQUIRED
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Large scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience preferred
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission
• Local candidates from certain counties are not eligible per facility policy effective 1 / 11 / 2024
