Food For Progress Program Chief Of Party

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foreign Agriculture Service will issue a global call for programs under its Food for Progress program (FFP). The FFP helps developing countries and emerging democracies modernize and strengthen their agricultural sectors. The program has two principal objectives : to improve agricultural productivity and to expand trade of agricultural products. The USDA's list of priority countries and sectors has not yet been decided.

IESC is issuing a call for Chief of Party candidates for proposed FFP projects. Candidates will have experience from any number of agricultural specialties.

Responsibilities :

• Provide strategic guidance, leadership, management and general technical oversight of the entire program, with a strong focus on achieving defined results
• Act as key liaison with all implementing partners and stakeholders involved with the program
• Act as spokesperson for the program and presenting its work regionally and globally
• Lead, manage, and supervise delivery teams comprising long and short term team members and consortium partners
• Ensure high-quality monitoring and evaluation of program impact and timely submission of donor reports and deliverables
