Job Functions :
Assemble machinery using mechanical design drawings and reference photos as instructed.
Disassemble machinery, clean it, inspect it, and identify any worn or broken parts.
Apply customary mechanical techniques required for the assembly of precision machinery.
Assemble machinery subassemblies involving precision bearings.
Assemble machine tooling.
Align machines, tooling, and perform machine startup procedures.
Troubleshoot and assist with internal and customer machine run-offs.
Maintain accurate work records, including red-lined mechanical drawings.
Work cooperatively and jointly with other team members, suppliers, and customers.
Travel to customer facilities for machine installations, start-up, customer training, and service as needed (approximately 25%).
Qualifications :
Experience with Vertical Turning Lathe assembly and / or service (e.g., EMAG, Famar, Okuma) is a plus.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read mechanical detail and assembly drawings.
Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
Ability to work well within a team.
A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, both one-on-one and in group settings.
Candidates must have a personal toolbox with standard hand tools and small power tools necessary for assembly work.
Unique and job-specific tools will be provided as required.
Must be able to work additional hours when necessary, within reason, to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
