Duties and Responsibilities of a Field Application Engineer
Duties include, but are not limited to : project management, system level development, quoting, part creation, bill of material creation, bill of material maintenance, oversight of prototype material delivery and assembly, and customer support.System compatibility and compliance testing.Add & maintain client / program information as needed in HubSpot CRM.Willingness to quickly respond to inbound client communication through contact requests, or product inquiries.Coordinate between sales and the other departments within Trenton regarding projects, customer requirements, potential orders, existing orders, technical status, etc.Work to resolve product and process issues with prototypes and / or first production products.May conduct special projects as requested by Management.Provide general support for all sales staff.PM21
Requirements
Systems Engineering or equivalent degree5+ years' technical knowledge of Intel based computer hardware solutions, preferably in the MIL / Aero market.Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 or DO-STD-160 testing standards preferred.Application experience in the following : Windows Operating Systems, Word, Excel, Contact Management Software, Outlook. Experience with Linux and RTOS Operating Systems preferred.Experience with computer server architecturesExperience with integrating third party cards into computer serversHave solid understanding of server system impacts related to thermal challenges, power consumption, and systems integration when modifications are required to current server products.Experienced troubleshooting IT computer systems and working with customers to help them troubleshoot server productsExcellent communication skills.Ability to manage numerous simultaneous projects.J-18808-Ljbffr
