MECHANICAL SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – TAMPA OR ORLANDO, FL (LOCAL TRAVEL ONLY)

Brave New World Search Group is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical and general contractors and industry professionals. BNW has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for a Mechanical Senior Project Manager – Local to Tampa or Orlando, Florida (local travel only).

Mechanical Senior Project Manager – Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation between $120,000 and $165,000

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage projects and teams from qualification through closeout.

Proficient in managing multiple projects at various stages.

Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers.

Plan, negotiate, and complete projects to specification and on schedule.

Oversee the building and installation of systems to customer specifications.

Perform estimates and prepare change orders.

Manage RFI log, change order log, labor tracking, material procurement, and activity scheduling.

Prepare reports for job cost analysis.

Attend project management meetings and jobsite coordination sessions.

Provide transparent reporting to executive management and clients.

Qualifications

8–10 years of Project Management experience in the mechanical construction industry.

Proven track record managing mechanical projects over $100M.

Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping, and ductwork.

Hospital project experience a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.

Excellent communication skills with clients, field employees, vendors, and contractors.

Local travel only – based in the Orlando, FL area.
