KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Cyber Defense Architect for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, design, implementation, testing, and engineering for large-scale cyber defense and security operations program
  • Define guidance on security architecture, assisting clients with reducing their attack surface and optimizing their cyber defensive capabilities to adapt to modern threats
  • Facilitate delivery of large-scale security operations architecture and engineering program
  • Innovate next generation cyber defense solutions that help minimize impact, decrease likelihood, and increase adaptability to cyber threats
  • Innovate cyber threat management and security automation programs leveraging AI and machine learning
  • Present firm-based approaches and messaging at internal training classes, external events, and client meetings

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in Information Security or in a technology related field
  • Hands-on experience with security data engineering, extract / transformation / load (ETL), scripting and query languages such as Alteryx, Python, SQL, and cloud technologies
  • Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited college / university or equivalent experience; cyber security, cyber defense, and / or technical infrastructure certifications
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale technology systems, orchestrating automation and optimizing processes for time and / or cost efficiency
  • Experience with object-oriented programming, software architecture, parameterization, storage / compute optimization and interoperability design
  • Willingness to take a critical eye to security tooling capabilities and present defendable, technical justifications for decisions and designs
  • Ability and willingness to travel, work in a fast paced, results driven environment, grasp new technology, and contribute at a rapid pace
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
