Care Specialist - Pre-Operative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team in a pre-operative role.

About the Role :

This position requires a nurse who can practice independently, demonstrating an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. The ideal candidate will provide routine and complex care, with the ability to set long-range goals or plans.

• Responsibilities include meeting expectations of applicable competencies : leadership, patient care, and education.
• The successful candidate will utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
• They will address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Responsibilities also include administering medications and treatments, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Additionally, they will delineate learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
