Nokia of America Corporation, Senior Optical Validation Engineer (Multiple Positions), Murray Hill, NJ

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, scalability, performance, stress and system functional testing of the desired / designated new feature development in the optical networking domain.
• Develop and test suits to support software release cycle and conduct requirement analyses for new features and enhancements.
• Perform automation of test suits / test Cases using Python Language and regression tests using batch process tools to uncover issues in the software.
• Interact with software design and system engineering team throughout the software release cycle to achieve the quality of the features supported by the product.
• Identify and support debugging the software bugs and fixing them and retest them until the required quality is achieved.
• Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output.
• Responsible for contribution to teamwork.
• Carry out tasks / activities according to assignment and set guidelines.
• Demonstrates initiative and adaptability to changing business environments. #LI-DNI

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Murray Hill, NJ may be permitted up to 40%.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following :
