Job description

White Plains Hospital is seeking a board-certified / board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join our busy, hospital-based practice in White Plains, NY . This is a call-taking opportunity with a low overnight call frequency , excellent compensation, and a diverse surgical case mix supported by a strong care team model.

Practice & Case Mix

  • Hospital and five Ambulatory Surgery Centers
  • Balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cases
  • Diverse case exposure : general, OB, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, cardiac, and regional anesthesia
  • No trauma or transplant cases
  • Cardiac and young pediatric cases are managed by dedicated subspecialty teams

    • Team Structure

  • 45 Anesthesiologists, 15 CRNAs
  • 41 anesthetizing locations covered daily
  • Collaborative care team model
  • Efficient peel-off system in place

    • Schedule & Call

  • Full FTE = 45-50 hours / week on average
  • Low overnight call frequency- once every 34 nights
  • Call-based anesthesiologists are onsite; no set hours

    • Compensation & Benefits

  • Year 1 : $550,000
  • Year 2 : $575,000
  • Year 3 : $600,000
  • Up to $100,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Additional earning potential : Up to $90,000

    • Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. from accredited institution
  • Completion of accredited Anesthesiology residency
  • Active NY medical license (or eligibility)
  • ECFMG and FLEX (if applicable)
  • Strong team and communication skills
  • 2025 graduates are welcome to apply
